Montaña Amarilla is a beach in Tenerife located in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona. It is a semi-urban beach 8 metres wide and 50 metres long. In high season this beach is usually not very crowded.
It is a beach with calm waters.
This beach is easily accessible on foot. It does not have disabled access. The beach has an unguarded car park with less than 50 parking spaces.
The crystalline waters of the beach, its rich seabed, the Montaña Amarilla volcano at the top, and the unique shapes that the mountain has acquired due to the effect of erosion, make this enclave on the island of Tenerife a must-see for lovers of this type of corner of the planet.
Although the beach is rocky and quiet, there is an area very close by where you can lie down and soak up the sun.
